Shooting sports offer a captivating blend of physical and mental challenges, making them perfect for people of all ages and genders. They can be categorized by equipment, shooting distances, targets, time limits, and the degree of athleticism involved.
Shooting is a demanding sport at all levels, requiring immense reserves of skill, concentration, nerve control, stamina, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills. These skills are all improved by taking part in shooting sports.
As shooting events rely heavily on mental power, people of all ages can compete on equal terms. The oldest Olympic champion was Sweden’s Oscar Swahn, who competed at three Olympic Games and won six medals, including three golds. He won a gold medal in Stockholm in 1912 at the age of 64 and a Silver medal with the Swedish Team in the 100-meter running deer double shots event in Antwerp in 1920 at the age of 73!

We believe it’s time for shooting sports organizations and communities around the globe to encourage newcomers to join the vast disciplines of shooting sports through proper training initiatives.
We do not broadcast nor support any political parties or any political views related to the sport of shooting.
However, we do support registered and recognized organizations that collaborate with governments and law enforcement agencies to promote shooting sport, legislation, and policy development.
