The Hunt film was pulled from the Universal Studio’s release schedule

The film was scheduled for release on September 27, 2019. It was, for a time, moved back to October 18 before shifting back to its original release date of September 27.

On August 7, 2019, Universal announced that in the wake of the Dayton and El Paso mass shootings, they would be suspending the film’s promotional campaign. Several days later, the film was pulled from the studio’s release schedule. An international release is still a possibility.
Twelve strangers wake up in a clearing. They don’t know where they are, or how they got there. They don’t know they’ve been chosen… for a very specific purpose … The Hunt.
In the shadow of a dark internet conspiracy theory, a group of globalist elites gathers for the very first time at a remote Manor House to hunt humans for sport.
But the elites’ master plan is about to be derailed because one of the hunted, Crystal (Betty Gilpin, GLOW), knows The Hunters’ game better than they do.
She turns the tables on the killers, picking them off, one by one, as she makes her way toward the mysterious woman (two-time Oscar® winner Hilary Swank) at the centre of it all.
Hunt is an upcoming American action horror film directed by Craig Zobel. It stars Emma Roberts, Justin Hartley, Hilary Swank, Glenn Howerton, Ike Barinholtz, Betty Gilpin, and Amy Madigan. Jason Blum is serving as a producer under his Blumhouse Productions banner.
